Pfalz Wine Region
Discover Germany's sun-drenched Tuscany, where the warmest climate and most diverse soils create powerful, fruit-forward Rieslings along the famous Deutsche Weinstraße - Germany's first and most celebrated wine route.
About Pfalz
The Pfalz represents Germany's answer to Tuscany, stretching 85 kilometers along the eastern slopes of the Haardt Mountains in a rain shadow that creates the country's warmest and driest wine region. This 23,000-hectare region benefits from Mediterranean-like sunshine (over 1,800 hours annually) and protection from the Vosges Mountains, allowing fig and almond trees to flourish alongside vines. The Pfalz pioneered Germany's dry Riesling renaissance and continues to lead innovation while respecting traditional winemaking.
